Experimental Protocols can be created and edited in an [[Experiment]]. An Experiment can be opened for editing from within a [[Model of Experiments]] (which in turn is opened from a [[Model Realization]]) or directly from the [[Database Pane]]. Opening an Experiment from within a Model of Experiments enables more features because of the association with a Model and all the States and Processes of that Model.

This page gives an outline and overview of the user interface for experimental protocols.

Experimental Protocols can be created and edited in an Experiment. An Experiment can be opened for editing from within a Model of Experiments (which in turn is opened from a Model Realization) or directly from the Database Pane. Opening an Experiment from within a Model of Experiments enables more features because of the association with a Model and all the States and Processes of that Model.

An Experiment opened from the Model of Experiments would look something like the following.
